My name is Samuel Windsor, last week was told by my mother about my father whom I never met, seeing as they were divorced before I was born. This topic always seems to make her feel embarrassed for some reason or another. Though I had only been told stories of him that were extremely vague and didn't tell me much about him, as in where he worked or some of his hobbies before the divorce, that was all about to change. My mother had decided it was time to
mitigate the vagueness of these tales and meet him in person.
I never thought I would ever get to meet him and now I'm glad because my mom, though being very
adamant about not telling me, decided I was old enough to learn more about my dad. The next morning after being told that we were going to see my father we packed up the minivan for the long trip from Georgia to Phoenix, Arizona. Of course this was not the only plan we had for this trip, this was also our vacation across the states to see the sites. It only became a trip to see my father when she realized that we'd be passing through Arizona to see the Grand Canyon so she thought it would make sense to get it out of the way.
